Creating for Convergence/Designing for Convergence (USC, 2001)



A lecture series I produced while a Visiting Scholar at the USC Annenberg Center based on the observation that far from their anticipated convergence, media platforms seemed to be diverging, while at the same time content was starting to exist across different platforms. This has been termed “trans-media” (Brenda Laurel) or “media mix” (Mizuko Ito). The series of panels and lectures explored the challenges of propagating content across divergent devices while maintaining some level of narrative and brand unity. Web site and poster by Jody Zellen.
